Vicky Featherstone

Vicky Featherstone, (Director and Editor) is the Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Scotland. Her directing work for the National Theatre of Scotland includes Appointment with The Wicker Man, 27, The Wheel, Wall of Death: A Way of Life (co-directed with Stephen Skrynka), Long Gone Lonesome, The Miracle Man, Empty, Cockroach, 365, Mary Stuart and The Wolves in the Walls (co-directed with Julian Crouch, TMA Award for Best Children’s Show, 2006).

Previously, Vicky was Artistic Director of new writing theatre company Paines Plough. Her awards include six Fringe Firsts, TMA Best Director and two Herald Angels.

Vicky has also worked in television as a drama executive for the BBC, Granada TV and Central TV. She created several original drama series, including Where the Heart Is and Silent Witness.
